Yes and no. Yes in that it technically could read how much an item had on it and convert it properly. No because I didnt design it to do that cause it'd be a lot more fiddly. I'd always assumed if people wanted to make a weapon, they'd first start with key components.

IE: Sword, enchanting matterials (Gold, XP and if they've managed to find them, the secret components to get special properties in this case), and begin. Enchanting and already enchanted object is kind of like getting a level 4 cleric and a level 15 cleric to cast greater magic weapon on your sword and expecting them to stack, even though the level 15 cleric is clearly capable of doing what the level 4 cleric is, and more. The reason it wipes the stats rather than simply adding them on is to save on item bugging and stacking properties

EG: 1 divine damage, 4 divine damage, 1 AB, 2 AB, 3 AB, 4 AB, 5 AB on one weapon (Increases cost value but not much else)

But if people want it changed and people are offering to change it and you want it changed that badly then I don't suppose i've any objections to people giving it a try. Good luck though. Gonna be fiddly.

Don't need my permission to do anything. I made the code for you. It's your server, do as you will with it. If something better fits, change and adapt. If we can't adapt we're hardly human. :) Things get out dated, that's the way of things. I've gotta finish a couple of games before I can give any real input. One of which i'll probably post up here when it's done.
