- Kymlun.com management proudly announces that from now on you can build your own character's home. For administration and safety purposes you'll need to follow the following guidelines:
- One area, an interior tileset of your choosing. No custom scripts, no NPCs (not even clothing stands) , no useable containers. Only the cep invisible chair placeable for sitting placeables.
- When you create the area you need to name it h_ACCOUNTNAME in order to have that as ResRef and TAG.
(My character's home tag would look like this: h_GLoRToR)
You can later change that name in the properties window. When you do, your home area will have to contain the Home tag before the actual name for area list purposes in the module.
So my character's area would look like this on the area list:
Home - Robbi's Hin Howse!
- Events you need to add in respective order to the properties menu's events tab:
lw_onareaenter
lw_onareaexit
lw_onareahb
lw_onareaud
- You need to make your home a full pvp area for server scripting purposes.
- Upon creating the key to your main door make sure to name it key_ACCOUNTNAME.
My key would look like this: key_GLoRToR
Give the key unique power unlimited uses per day for scripting purposes. (Makes the key transferrable between players.)
- Make sure to give the key tag to both sides of the door and mark them locked and plot.
- Unused home areas get deleted from the module every month or when management decides so.
- When done, send the module to either Loreweaver or me.
- If the area doesn't meet these requirements it will not be inserted.

- One player can have one home, no matter howmany characters they have.
- Players may move in together and share the same home area. That way they don't risk losing the home (more people use a home more often , obviously) due to inactivity.
- Maximum size of a home area is 6x6. It can be 5x6 or 4x5 or 2x2 but not any larger than 6.

Right I'm making an evil underground lair for Inga, and I need to know if I can have the following...
4 extra keys, one for each bedroom and 1 for the cells. This will make for 5 keys in total. Preferably I would like 1 for each of the three cells, but I understand this may not be possible. If so then what tags should I add to them and any scripts needed also to add, what DC unlock they should have, hardness etc
I would also like to create a couple of minor scripts, only to have a shout-out description appear giving a brief description of the area the character has just walked into.

The old area is gone? xD There's nothing there anymore, so basicly, it's a new area? Or replacing an old one.. in that case, SAM!! are ya allright with et?

I think I asked before but never got an answer:
Am I allowed to have a OnEnter script that fires a Personal Message to a character when they enter a section of the House. This PM/Tell will fire only once per character, per server reset and will contain flavor text much in the same way found in Solinar.

Can i have a popup stopper if he gets a popup?
Scripts within homes are to only run when people are within said home, and you have to ask lore before hand of course. So speak to lore.
