If that's still working, so will every other class then give you a Class Purity Bonus at lvl 20. Credit for which I believe goes to Lore :)

Because the upgrades mentioned in this post are not the old class purity bonusses that are still in effect.

It was decided that everything would be put on hold a long long time ago, and i think the ultimate decision was to be rid of the concept. This is more than two years old.

Scripting them is easy peasy. Balancing them is the hard part. If you give barbarians extra attacks when they rage then you need to give druids extra defence when they're in alternate forms, fighters have to have better bonuses for focusing with weapons, maybe even defensive fighting with more AC to counter the barbarians flurry, mages require heightened DR from their spell to counter the fact that they're being hit twelve times a round instead of eight, bard songs need to be improved to give advantages that might overcome the mages DR, rogues need some kind of bonus which would be difficult to put in because sneak attack is hard coded and pretty soon every base class has to become gimped just for the sake of balance, and in order to keep it balanced you'd need to release each class at the same time otherwise you get a period in which barbarians are capable of stomping everything with their dual wielded warhammers and improved two weapon fighting and haste and their bonus frenzy attacks and people whine cause their class isn't out yet and bla bla bla.

The only thing it would add is a little bit of change and some difference to the classes, which might lead to some tactical rethought in how combat is dealt with and possibly get rid of the need for everyone to have high level weapons to feel useful. But again, the balance is the key thing that needs to be considered.

Okay yeah i can see how that would be hard to balance since in my veiw the only thing wrong with any class is the fact that starting from the list at the top when you make your toon the weakest classes are at the top and slowly get better as you scroll down (ever notice that?)
