I'm quite tempted to do a small side thing and make some gambling tools for the shadier of sorts, the drinkers, the card masters, the pirates and rogues. Question is, how many of you would use them?

For instance if I replicated Poker and Liars Dice to begin, how many would see them as useful?

With regards to resources it would be a case of recycling the scripts we have already and adding a conversation file I think. :)

Admittedly, I'd see if I could use em, but depending how it all worked, I may not. I don't really know what to expect from this.

I /will/ however try them out.

Oddly enough, I can see myself finding use for such as well. Especially the dice, as dice games are <3.

Hence why it is a case of recycling code we have already, just relaying it in a means that is fair.

For example, liars dice, the players can only see their own dice until the very end, where all the dice are revealed.

Poker similarly would require the roll of 4 dice to get the first two cards, which of course everyone would see and know whether or not to bet. Not so much an issue with the dealer though of course. :D

As an after thought, I think there's even an item in place already we could use for the tools. "Playing Cards" or some such

I can't see myself using them all too often, and I'm of the opinion that this is something that may likely be largely popular for a short time, and then die down over time, however, I'm willing to give it a shot nonetheless to see how it pans out.
