Thanks to the wonders of the 1.69 OnPlayerChat event, players can now use a number of text commands to make stuff happen. All you have to do to activate them is send them to the DM channel. There's no need to worry about spamming the DMs, as you won't.
Utility Commands: CHOOSE_BARDSONG ORIGINAL CHOOSE_BARDSONG CUSTOM DROP_SPELLS LOG_READ ROLL (Bonus) (Sides) The first two commands allow you to switch between using the Kymlun bardsongs as provided by the widgets, and the standard NWN bard and curse song. The server defaults to the custom songs. The third command removes many effects including Stoneskin, Premonition and Improved Invisibility from your character. The next time you enter civilized lands, there's no need to hurry to an inn to look presentable. The log command lets you read the server's session log. This log can contain DM announcements about event start times, temporarily off-limits areas and many other things besides. It's reset each time the server is, so all messages are recent. The final command is simply another dicebag. To make a d16 Craft Trap roll, you'd type ROLL CRAFTTRAP 16. For a d20 Charisma check, ROLL CHARISMA 20 and so on. Saving throws are also an option.
Situational Commands TATTOO1 (Number) TATTOO2 (Number) TITLE_BOOK (Title) WRITE_BOOK (Text) NAME (Name) Some commands can only be used in special situations. The first two commands will work for a few minutes after you purchase a different tattoo colour at the Solinar tattoo parlour. They will allow you to set the colour to any number of your choice - it helps if you get yourself an NWN colour chart or you can look up the desired colour in the toolset (Chart starts at 0 and is read left to right, top to bottom). The other two commands are used at the Solinar library's writer's table. You first define the title of the book you want to write (TITLE_BOOK The pixies of the Blood Forest) and then write the text to go with it (WRITE_BOOK Little creatures with saucer-like yellow eyes and pointy teeth haunt the most treacherous regions of the Blood Forest...). A book will be created instantly at the cost of 1200 gp. Do note, you're limited in the number of letters you can use so you're stuck with a single paragraph for now - yet you can always divide the book into several loose chapters. NAME is used for the Enchanting system and allows you to name an item you made up to 2 minutes after creation.
The fun stuff CALMTH RAGE FATE FATIGUE WEAKNESS EXHAUSTION You all know how a hero fares in a duel with his nemesis. It consists of posing and tough talk, after which the hero pummels the bad guy for a minute. That's followed by ten minutes of being pounded to near death, after which a last mighty effort wins the game for the battered champion. In a similar scenario, our weary hero proves capable of a final burst of rage when the monster threatens to eat the princess or murders the little brother. The first three commands will let you simulate mighty feats by applying bonuses to your character for 20 seconds. They do come with an xp cost and a cooldown, and don't stack, so they're best activated just before your rolls or during combat. Calmth grants a +3 bonus to your mental attributes at a cost of 100 xp. Rage grants a +3 bonus to your physical attributes at a cost of 100 xp. Fate on the other hand grants +3 to your attacks and defence, saves and skills at a cost of 250 xp. The other three commands apply a 20 second weaknesses instead. If you want to get hit, perhaps because you're training against a low level character, or you really want to miss that bow shot, or your character is just tired, you can use one of these commands. There's no xp cost or cooldown for these. Fatigue gives you a -2 penalty to your attacks and defence, skills and saves. Weakness gives you a -3 penalty to all attributes except the ones you use to cast spells (because we know how you hate to reset spell slots). Exhaustion meanwhile is the real deal and gives you a -10 penalty to all attributes, saves, skills, attacks and defence.
Enjoy.
