The sun slowly began it's descent through the sky over Solinar's Southern Plains as Avara, Shade, crept into the fields. Coming across what was rumoured to be a common occurance nowadays. I clash between pale-masters and necromancers, she had heard of these fights through her contacts. The pale-master being Keldrin Mortanis and the necromancer a man named Zorthanos. She cared little for their argument but watched anyway as each threatened the other and pointed out weakspots. The argument soon became disrupted though as a piercing scream deafened her. Hoardes and hoardes of undead swarmed the area and Avara soon found herself dying multiple times. Each one rescued by Illani.
It was hopeless and she tried to flee, only, Avara, tried to pull her the other way, Shade knew the safest way was in the city, but for a few moments she paused, not-knowing. This pause was to be fatal for a spell came towards her which she didn't see, but she heard, she fell to the floor, dead.
When she awoke, she was surrounded by people, within the city, pondering on their situation. Healing, praying, arguing. Tammy was there, and Pelgrin, Keldrin, Zorthanoz, Galiae, Illani, and several others. All giving their own points of view, when a huge fire started in the North, a meteor falling from the sky. Avara had to smirk, for in disaster there was opportunity, she decided to tag along when they followed it. Stopped by raging fires on the way, the heroes decided to try and put it out. Though, why she didn't know, there were plenty of civilians to do that job, they should be heading to the disaster zone, even Tammy agreed, but of course, no-one would listen to the ones who hid in shadows. Not until one of their own suggested it, after the fire was put out.
Heading North, they came across the path the meteor had taken, leading past the Gates, past the ravine leading north to the northern seaside. There, it was found, stood massive pillars, those that were like the ones in Moon'Thar, summoning skeletons forever. More than that though, the spires seemed to stop everyone's magic. It wasn't long before Avara died again, and was ressurected by Illani. She was growing tired of it, needed more power, but then again, that was the whole point of this little tag-along. To see what power could be gained, what rewards would be found.
And then it happened:
From the sky appeared a man burning. Domorus, the Burning King, the God of Solinar city. Stood upon the clifftop in a rage, fires began burning and the night sky was lit up destroying the undead that were attacking. It was a quick victory, a quick respite. For no sooner had the undead gone, than Devils began attacking, Lucifer appeared, taunting Domorus. The words were quickly exchanged as they flew into an attack, Avara watching with a smirk, wondering which would come out on top. Toppled momentarily by the quakes the fight had caused.
Hoardes of Undead swarmed in from the forest, attacking the Devils in the seaside, battle raged on in front of the heroes eyes. It was quickly decided to retreat.
Back outside the Northern gates, the heroes ran for the gates. Only to be stopped again by quakes and two new visions. From the ground rose a man, no, a demon. Bulging muscles, naked as the day, winged, chains slid off his body as he lowered towards them. Speaking quickly to the ones in front as Avara watched from behind, a new player, potential new rewards, it was all so overwhelming.
Iscariot also appeared, and together they spoke of Seals, seven heroes born to save the world. They told how they must be found before Lucifer could be sent back to hell. It was interesting to say the least.
And then it ended, with the two gone, the heroes scattered back into the city, to rest, to run, to search. Each to their own. Avara slid into the shadows, heading towards her room. It was again time to prepare, tomorrow she would seek out a number of people, objects and preparations.
Tomorrow, she would not die.
