((A little picture that kinda looks like her))

Nallia grew up in the typical elven community, in a house where her mother overworked, her father her only rolemodel who went out hunting more often than not, and her sister who was her only friend. It was not the perfext existence but she was happy none-the-less. Most of her childhood was spent running around with Enrin, who was her "almost identical twin".

Starting at an early age both of the sister started to display some strange characteristics. Often they would do things that would cause the common folk to stop and double take, and when asked the two would declare that they did it in the name of fun. Their mother did not like this in the least but due to her working schedule at the tannery there was nothing she could really do. This left their father, who unlike most encouraged these behaviors his daughters were showing. He wanted nothing more than to see them happy.

For Nallia, her father was the one person in the whole village who understood her. She usually didn't mind what people thought of her or her sister, but sometimes it would get to be too much and luckily her father would be there to calm her and to bring back her usual cheerful disposition. She never knew the harshness that was reality, what child did? Sooner or later one would have to face death and sorrow but Nallia wasn't ready for it so soon. It all happened with the Great Hunts.

Nallia's father was the village's lead hunter, always bringing back plenty of food for everyone. He was a modest man and had a heart that some claimed was made of pure gold. There was a few hunts during the year where prey would be abundant, these "Great Hunts" would last a few weeks at the most, leaving the rest of the men and women to fend for themselves for this brief period of time. This left both the sisters depressed, for they would be left with their mother during this time.

Two weeks passed slowly, each day going what seemed to be in slow motion as the two sisters waited for their beloved father. Their mother, while gone most of those days still left them with plenty to work on around the house. If that wasn't bad enough when she was home it was ten times worse, often ending with their mother yelling at the top of her lungs and locking the two in their rooms for the night. So it goes without saying that their hearts overflowed with joy as the first of the hunter's torches were seen in the treeline. They sprinted towards the flickering lights, breathing becoming rapid as the scenes of the village blurred around the two of them. As they reached the hunters their hearts stilled for several long moments as they noticed a familiar form laying motionless on a makeshift stretcher. The hunters while not exactly liking the two of them stopped to give sympathy and explained that their father had come too close to a bear's den. The fighting lasted for hours as the hunters tried to save the doomed soul, but it was all for nothing as the bear bit clean through his neck. As if on que the hunters also dragged the corpse of the biggest bear Nallia had ever seen. This monster was the reason she would never again be able to hear her father's voice telling her it is alright, nor would she get hugs for when her heart felt like lead.

Enrin got it the worst and was shocked into silence, and Nallia had the exact opposite reaction as she cried out her lungs in pain for the loss of her beloved father and bolted to her last sanctuary that was her hosue, tears falling in waves all the way there. Nallia's mother, however, beat her home was standing out the front door, pale has snow with a letter in her hand. Nallia pushed past the person she barely considered her mother and went into the living area. It was here that something bubbled up within Nallia, something that was triggered with the extreme sorrow of losing her only caring parent. As she cried out for her loss once more the flames on the candles flared upward a foot or two and the chair and desk in the corner, the one her father used to write letters and read, crushed in upon itself till it was nothing but a pile of rubble. Dark clouds began to form unnaturally within seconds and began spewing lightning down around the simple home. It coated the trees in brillant white and orange light as leaves, grass, and underbrush was lit aflame but the bolts of wrath that was Nallia's anguish.

Her mother stood for a moment, mouth agape as she could not believe her eyes. Shock coupled with her depression she took Nallia by the arm and dragged the still sobbing child out the front door and pushed her to the ground, screaming that both her and Enrin were never allowed in their home again. The shocked struck Nallia's weakened walls and soon anger bubbled up within her and soon another bolt of lightning zoomed down towards her mother's prized flower patch, flames erupting from the wilting petals as dirt was flung into the air a few feet. It was then that she found Enrin and the two of them left the village. The both of them were considered outcasts so they set off for different lands, maybe one of them would accept them for who they were.

The two children wandered the woodland trails, their hearts heavy and their minds muddled with mixed emotions. Several of the hunters had been trailing them the first few days, making sure they were save, but they long since given up and gone back to the place that was once their home. The two sister did not care though, their father had taught them some tricks and skills to make a living in the forest until they could reach some form of civillization. Hopefully this new home would be better for the two somewhere where Nallia and Enrin would feel welcomed and loved as individuals.

It was at the fifth day that Enrin had finally spoke, but it was not to issue any good news..

"Sister, my tummy hurts.." Enrin groaned softly as she wrapped her tin arms around her twig-like midsection.

Nallia was quick to rush to the aid of her sister, looking over for any signs of illness, unfortunately there was plenty to choose from. Enrin's pale complextion was even more pale and her eyes were glazed over. So she immediate laid Enrin down on a makeshift bed of large leaves, setting up a fire next to it. Luckily before their departure Nallia had managed to get some of the bear's pelt from her father's friend, and used that as a blanket of sorts for her ill sister. Nallia hoped it was a simple flu or cold but it was obvious something much more sinister was at work. Not one hour in Enrin was dellusional, muttering feverishly under her breath.

"Sister... I see Papa.... he is sad we left home..." Enrin said, her voice cracking slightly from a parched throat. Her breathing was becoming labored as she faught to stay alive much less awake.

"Shhh, neu talkings Enrin, you are sicks n' Nallia is gonna make you aww betters, yup yup!" Nallia exclaimed with a toothy grin to nearly split her face in half. She knew that Enrin's chances were slim but she didn't want to lose hope, Enrin was all Nallia had left. It couldn't like this. Their perfect life was within reach, Enrin needed to see it, even for a moment.

It was decided then, Nallia went over to the sleeping form that was Enrin and lifted her up, slinging her over her shoulders. At first she swayed left and right not used to the weight, but she was determined and driven. She took a small step and then another, slowly she made her way forward, her perfect life just ahead, she knew it in the pit of her stomach.

Farther into the woods Nallia struggled, inch by inch she drew closer to the edge of the woodlands. Then she could get Enrin healed and then they could live their perfect life and no one could push them around ever again. She was too busy thinking that she tripped over an outgrown root and tumbled to the ground with her sister. Nallia's strength was spent, she couldn't save them. She was weak. Hot tear's streamed down her cheeks as she came to that realization. This was it. It was over and their perfect life was dashed. It seemed that fate was pushing against them, determined to ruin their lives or at worst see them dead.
