I love emulation. I used to play SNES games on my PC 2 years ago, and now there are even more ways to play old games that SHOULD be free now, because you can't even buy them at the store. PS2 games get sold in the bargain bin, but they may as well be free. But it's a shame as some people move on to bigger and better systems, they forget about the gaming-gems that paved the way, and are perhaps even still better than some of the crap that gets released today.
I was one of those sad people until a few days ago =/
One of those games was Guilty Gear XX. My god, that game was great. I can't think of anything that wasn't there...Hand drawn characters moving at 60 frames per second, some of the most stunning visuals on a PS2 game, or otherwise, voice acting was top-notch and brilliant, both button-mashers and serious enthusiasts could play, yet only the skilled guys won 9/10 times, the characters were well thought out and enhanced the story that made the most sense out of any fighting game back then.
Plus Anime fans, it was made with you in mind xD.
But the thing that made Guilty Gear great was the music composed for it. Even the original Guilty Gear had tracks like , and listening to it you can just feel the tension between the two main characters Sol Badguy and Ky Kiske.
Here's some other tracks that just flat out rock:
(I was unstoppable with this character, and I'll show you why later)
(Shame don't think he's playing Storymode on the most difficult setting) (Kensou uses Chipp almost as I did, and if used right the guy flat out demolishes)
Roland's reverse-grip technique mirrors the one used by Sol, where I got the idea a while back.
Love this game. xD
