The person who wrote this song, no longer lives, died seven years ago. He was my godmother's son and a bit like a big brother to me. This is a famous band in my country.
The song has nothing to do with travel, it's about the opposite of motion. It represents a period in my life - around Thomas' death and my mother's illness - that I remember as growing up.

The waiting rooms of every lonely night
Await you with wide open arms
Just. Believe. Me.
Broken chairs on this dampened dawn
Not a soul left on the train station
Just. Believe. Me.
Chorusx2
Take a trip into the unknown
Take a trip to a strange place
Take a trip between earth and sky
Travel into the nothingness... nothingness.
On these tracks on these aging tracks
Finally my train has arrived
Just. Believe. Me.
On these boards, on these empty boards
Still I hear the noise of your steps
Just. Believe. Me.
Repeat Chorus
