Edgar steps out from the cart and glances around Westport looking for the library. After a bit of wandering around he stumbles upon the old building. Entering he finds the curator sitting at his desk reading a book.

“Sir?” Edgar asks politely.

The old man glanced up from his book giving the monk a cold gaze.

“Did you need something?” he asks.

“I am Edgar Prescott, a traveling monk. Could I look around and see if there is anything related to Binn Gan Fo?”

The question however gets no reply, just a simple wave of his hand into the direction of some bookshelves. Taking this as a “yes”, Edgar slips into the back where books fill every free space. He wanders around glancing over the titles of the books while searching for a desk or table to sit and read. Wandering around the bookcases, like a maze, he finds a table, although some books are already there.

“I suppose the sooner I start the better” He mutters to himself.

He takes a seat, reads the titles of the books and stacks them off to the side. Reaching into one of his bags he pulls out a journal, the quill and inkwell to write his notes with. The area around the table is fairly open, enough for people to easily get in and out, and the light is dim. Edgar opens the nearest book to him and glances through its pages, wondering if someone else had the same idea and left these books out. He moves through all the books on the table, finding little information regarding Binn Gan Fo. Edgar writes notes on what he suspects might be relevant.

Edgar gets up from the table and starts wandering through the maze of shelves. Taking the other books with him as well, to return them to their places. As Edgar moves through the aisles, it gets harder to see as the masses of books filter out what little light can get through. Not wanting to bother the curator, Edgar wanders aimlessly learning the layout on his own and slowly picking out new books to read through. Looking back at his notes, Edgar sees a name that could help.

Moving up and down the aisles, Edgar looks for the name on other titles. The light gets dimmer as night approaches, making it harder to see. Quickly Edgar chooses the books he needs for tomorrow and places them at the table.

He finds this as a poem in a book on ancient songs and rhymes about the Shillan religion in the western language:

Ukhat Hafun, okhmat mutho
Mai othoth-bashur mai knalo
Ruthraf Dokkoth sai Sasho
Osdtedt Urzen Binn Gan Fo.

Ukhat Hafun, okhmat mutho
Mai sur-bashur sur arlo
Thoth-boggoth barusth amno
Imphat ravurn Binn Gan Fo

Breathe the fury, wield the thunder
Tear the realm, tear asunder
Come the black mist and there you go,
Turn the Lord to Binn Gan Fo.

Breathe the fury, wield the thunder
Rip souls from their sleeping slumber
Death's guise falters if defies hero
And turns Lord's Anger, to Binn Gan Fo.

Upon recognizing the words his heart skips a beat. He reads it over and over again before thumbing through his journal and making a written copy. This was something, if a bit out of grasp of its concept; it was still somewhere to start.

Edgar stands from his chair abruptly making the wooden legs screech on the stone floor. The sudden loud sound comes as a surprise to him as he is still a bit shocked at finding something. With a quick glance around to hope no one was disturbed, he gathers up the other books leaving the book of songs at the table to look back on later should he need to.

Leaving the table Edgar makes his way into the small walkways replacing the other books he had and begins picking out books on Shillan religion, not letting this one item of luck slip away.

Back at the table with a new armload of books to go over he places them into two neat piles and starts going over the book of songs once more just to be sure that something else was not missed. After double-checking said book he looks into his notes as well just to refresh his mind. Though still somewhat surprised at finding this passage, he reads it over once more before closing the book and going over to the first pile. He readies his quill by dabbing it with a bit of ink and opens the first book. He starts again, reading through whole books looking for something that can be used to help return this dark lord to whatever pit he came out of. However small he has found at least one thing that could help. And if the books cannot tell him, maybe one of their priests can.
